What if our religion was each other
If our practice was our life
If prayer, our words
What if the temple was the earth
If forests were our church
If holy water - the rivers, lakes, and oceans
What if mediation was our relationships
If the teacher was life
If wisdom was self-knowledge
If love was the center of our being.

I do the nursery at our church once a month. Sometimes we go more, sometimes we do not.
Sometimes it feels right and sometimes it doesn't.
Today I asked Abby while she was in the tub, " do you like going to church and talking about God?"
She shakes her head no but quickly says, "well, I do like church but I wish we could just talk about, (pause)..... animals or something."
